DELHI: Financial inclusion in a simple term can be defined as the way of librating the poor from dependence on venal politicians and from dependence on indifferently delivered public service. There has long history of the financial inclusion in India. In a typical sense it has been subject of opening new bank accounts in rural India.

In order to empower the rural population, the Prime Minister, Naredra Modi announced Pradhan Mantri Jan- Dan Yolanda, which will focus on intrusion of basic banking service to rural household. This will not only restrict to Bank account, but it will be synchronized with the cutting edge technology.

The current plan of action for the financial inclusion is based on multi dimensional approach, which the telecom player may play vital role by providing services like mobile banking.

All though the task seems to be challenging, as it will not only need support from state but also it will require great sense of commitment from private players , bank, policy makers and the obviously the most important key stone species of the entire process the customers.
