Spread over an area of 185 acres, the ideal setting of this campus makes it a conducive place for learning. Surrounded by serenity and a verdant environment it provides excellent ambience and enable students to unwind. The campus has been meticulously planned and maintains nature at its best. Its manicured lawns, large trees and ergonomic buildings make IIM Lucknow a very beautiful campus.

Located in Prabandh Nagar, the campus is 21 kms away from the railway station and about 31 kms away from the airport.

Established in the year 1984, in the capital city of Uttar Pradesh, it is one among the six management institutes founded by the Government of India at the national level. IIM Lucknow is the fourth B-school in India to have been established. In the line of order the first was IIM Kolkata; this was followed by IIM Ahmedabad   and IIM Bangalore. It is the 1st IIM in the country to have two campuses, one in Noida and the other in the outskirts of Lucknow.

The Noida campus aims to excel in areas concerning executive education. This is their manner of contributing and accomplishing their vision of remaining in the forefront in the education sector.

It main aim is to develop the public systems and the non-corporate and corporate sectors by pursuing excellent management education, training, research and consultation.

The methodology it follows is case study teaching. This method enables students to connect to the theories they have learned to real life instances and find patterns to what looks random initially. The well-equipped lecture theaters along with audio visual tools let students understand and present the various aspects of study. Having regular presentations makes them persuasive speakers and knowledgeable individuals. The institute focuses on developing their student’s personality in totality. To achieve this students are persuaded to join extracurricular activities in the campus itself.

The MDP (Management Development Program) is a landmark achievement in the institute’s path towards turning into a completely integrated institute that has a worldwide presence. MDP aims to improve the system of management by offering executives of non-governmental and governmental sectors appropriate training so that they can take on the role of leaders collectively as well as individually.

IIM Lucknow devises customized programs to meet specific needs of various organizations both in the public as well as the private sector. Such programs are applicable to the functional and to the general management areas.
