In order to integrate the lower strata (real beneficiaries) to the democratic set up, the constitution amendment 73rd (panchayat) and 74th (municipalities) as per the BALWANT RAI MEHTA COMMITTEE have been made.

Meanwhile, the amendments provided for the decentralization of power and decision making aspect to the lower strata, it ensures the commendable participation of women in the panchayat and municipalities. As per the provision one third representations shall be given exclusively to women.

However, there is significant increase in head count of women members in the body of the panchayats and municipalities but not in real scenario as per in most of the cases.

Here below are some flows which clearly explains the true obstruction for the real representation to women in local governance.
  • Panchayat Pati: Dummy women candidate got elected as because the real decision making power is being mentored by their husbands, the concerned women is just used as a rubber stamp.
  • Lack of Awareness Level :Lucuma is that there is still low level of awareness amongst the women candidates they are not aware of their rights, role and duty to be performed as a leader.
  • Lack of Education And Exposure : The women candidate have generally low level of education and since most of them are generally confined to household amenities the lack, the exposure of outer world as such.
Well the above barriers can be overcome with the spread of knowledge ,education and proper training to them and in overall true sense the women participation will be authenticated.

As per the Polyeyes prediction, the difference of marks between UR and SC is very small .A gap ofonly 10 marks or 5 questions. In the 5th JPSC PT exam, his gap was of 34 marks or 17 questions without any change in SC seats and number of candidates appeared.

Cut off for UR should be 190-204 marks.
