President Express Concerns Over Delhi Incident

Allahabad, Dec 25: President of India Pranab Mukerjee expressed his concerns over the Delhi gang rape case where of a 23-year-old girl raped in a bus .

President said that such incidents would not be allowed to take place again he was ay Allahabad to attend the ninth convocation of Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology (MNNIT), said the government was taking preventive measures and hoped that such incidents would be curbed in future.

Wishing speedy recovery to the girl, he said the government was keeping a keen eye on the violence after the incident. 

He appealed to the people of India to maintain peace as the violence is not the solution to any problem.

He extends his condolence over the death of Delhi police constable Subhash Tomar, who died this morning after injury during the protest.
