Preliminary Screening Test for the

Name of the post: Motor vehicles inspector (Non-technical)

Department: Transport dept, Government of West Bengal.

Schedule: 24th April, 2014, Sunday

Time: 12:00 to 01:30pm

Venue: Will be held at various centers in Kolkata as mentioned in the candidate’s admit card.

Admit card has been sent to the candidates by post. The candidates who do not receive their admit cards within 22nd of April 2014, kindly download it from ‘here’. In order to obtain the same one requires bringing any of the proof ID as follows:

Pass port

Equivalent examination pass certificate/ admit card which bears his or her photograph.

Pan card

U.I.D card

EPIC

Driving license

Pattern for the examination: Comprises of total number of questions to be 100 out of which 75 questions will be asked from general science including science and humanities, and 25 questions on arithmetic problems. The standard of arithmetic questions asked will be of Madhyamik standard, W.B.B.S.F in which each question carries two marks.
