DELHI: "Goliyon ki Raasleela or Ramleela" It's tough to accept it even as ‘desi version’ of Romeo & Juliet. Moreover it is Desi cum modern version of it. Reason is quite simple. It is over dramatized and confused in terms of story plot and execution.

Seems Bhansali ji, was trying to create a new epic love story to which he got confused in as what to show and what not. There are few very indigestible things in the film and quite silly too. Though the whole set up looks made up as they are not at all real but the camera work and shots are very well executed as with such great and heavy choreography continuous shots are quite tuff and in every dance song and maximum shots you can enjoy the same. Visually this film is very sound.

If you want to enjoy the creation then this film will give you a good taste. Also the entry of Ranbeer Singh is phenomenal as he is looking really really hot with his tuff body and new look. His dance in ‘Tattad Tattad’ is remarkable failing all other dance no’s till date. Deepika's dance was also commendable in such heavy ghagras. She is eye catchy as both hot shot and in Gao ki gori look. The chemistry shared between them is just too good. Also actors like Supriya Pathak, Abhimanyu Singh have added big taste in it.

It is a very colorful film with essence of Love, politics, communism, drama, relations and madness for love again. But I really could not get the point that why did he show Gujrati’s so violent? They have so colorful culture but they seemed more like two groups of dacoit. And finally Priyanka won the battle with her item song, because after two hard trials (Babli Badmash & Pinky) ultimately she got fit in as an item dancer (Priyanka would be giving cats look to Katrina now. You will like this film if you can accept made up drama with perfection.
