IAS 2014 Exam: Pre One Paper And No Optional In Mains

DELHI: In order to rationalise the entire recruitment process, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is expected to come with the big change in upcoming 2014 IAS recruitment process.

As per the current speculation, it seems that there will only one paper in prelims of 300 marks. The GS portion will be of 150 marks and 150 marks for the aptitude. Moreover, as per the mains is concerned optional is expected to be no more and the portion of optional will be substituted by some additional GS paper.

However, the clear picture about the massive changes in the recruitment process will available only after the official notification of 2014 recruitment process, which is expected to be announced by 17 May, 2014.
