Indias Quest For Medal, London Olympic 2012

London Olympic games 2012 is a glorious opportunity for India to make a history in the games with a chance of winning 10 or more medals. For India it is the first time to turn the possibilities of winning medal in reality. Since India first participated in 1900 in Paris. At that time there was the only person who represented India named Norman Pritchard. Now for London Olympic 2012, India hopes for winning about 12 medals.

India's biggest medals hope are boxing, badminton, tennis, swimming, shooting, wrestling, archery. In gymnastics too, there is optimistic view to win medal with Ashish Kumar's break through season last year. Along with Ashish, Rakesh Patra, Ikrar Hassan and Alok Ranjan are the other three Indians in the gymnastic camp.

In shooting two shining stars of india, Gagan narang and Abinav Bindra will be competing and there would be no wonder if they win medals in London Olympic. Ranjan Sodhi is another name for a medal in the double trap.
Indian Women's boxing is going to make its first appearance in London Olympic. They are being trained by foreign coach.

In tennis Sania mirza and Rohan bopanna have a great chance of winning medal in mixed doubles. Sania Nehwal is absolute hope to win medal. Vijendra Singh and Sushil kumar are hoping to do better performances as they can do.
Nation's top woman pugilist M C Marycom is one of India's primary medal hopes. Top Indian swimmer Virdhawal khade is qualified for 100mt freestyle event in the 2012 London Olympic. Another top swimmer Sandeep Sejwal has qualified in 100mt Breakstroke.

Finally two archers Deepika kumara and Jayanta Talukdar can easily topple the best on their day.

yes india has a very good chance to win madel in satisfying amount. Archery,Badminton,boxing,shooting,wrestling,tennis are some of the events in which we are a great hope of wining at least 8 madel.Inspite of this hockey which is india's netional game we never lose hope after a long olympic break our team is ready for do or die.We have a good combination of senior and junior players.They play well in last couple of series and I think that they can win at least a bronze.So we hope that they well.We wish them all the best India GO FOR GOLD
