New Delhi,Sept,20: Mahindra and Mahindra, India's prime car maker has launched its new SUV, Quanto for Indian road.

The Mahindra and Mahindra's Quanto entry level C2 price pits the compact SUV straight at the B+ segment hatchbacks of Maruti Suzuki Swift, the Ford Figo and the Hyundai i20.

 

The Main features of Quanto:

A Compact SUV: The Quanto is a sub-four metre car, making it one of the smallest SUVs in India. A new breed of compact SUV, the Quanto is the only vehicle with 5 + 2 seating arrangement.

Engine Specifications: The Quanto has a mCR100 engine and claimed as the first 1.5 litre diesel engine in the world with a twin-stage turbo. The 100bhp engine coupled with 240NM of torque gives Quanto its impressive power on roads.

Mileage: With the increase in diesel price, the first thing that comes to the mind of the customers when we plan to buy a car is its mileage. The Quanto uses Micro Hybrid Technology and has an ARAI certified mileage of 17.2 km/litre.

Interiors: Mahindra Quanto is the only sub four meter SUV in India with a 5+2 seating capacity, which means that there is enough space in this Quanto. The SUV also loaded with a 2 DIN music system with CD, MP3, USB & Aux in.

Big is betterStorage capacity can be increased in the Quanto by folding third row. The Quanto comes with other interesting features like foldable snack trays, individual arm rests for the driver and front-passenger, 5 bottle holders, magazine pockets and under-seat storage as well.

Safety Features: Mahindra's new SUV  comes with several safety features like the dual SRS airbags that inflate instantly in case of any emergency. 

It also made with an anti-lock braking system that gives you greater control on slick surfaces. 

The intellipark reverse assist system supports drivers avoid accidents while reversing. The SUV also has a technology called Engine Immobilizer which ensures to take care of your car from prying fingers. The Quanto also comes with powerful fog lamp.
