FOLLOWING ARE THE DUTIES OF REVIEW OFFICER :
  •  To receive all letters marked to him and maintain them in diary.
  •  He should write a comment and a note on letters marked to him.
  • Preparation of description sheets, notes/reports, lists, schemes, plans, budget proposals, list of new demands, summary, preparation of brief or detailed note for the Cabinet.
  • Preparing a record for documents sent to record room, also preparing slip for disposal and dispatch.
  • Checking clean copies of notes/notings.
  • Proof-checking of matter sent to press for printing.
  • Bringing to the notice of Section Officer about significant delay in allotted work or important matter.
  • Presenting a reminder for matters kept in waiting.
  • Studying related Acts, rules, regulations, orders, basis material, previous examples etc if required for office comments.
  • Keeping a daily diary of his work and presenting it before Section Officer once in a fortnight.
  • Maintaining the secrecy of documents.
  • To complete any job assignment given to him by Section Officer or concerned officer.
  • To help his colleagues in doing their duty, cooperate with them, following discipline and doing important work in the absence of Section Officer.
  • Maintenance of records for job allotted and opening new files, if needed.
  • Doing work on the computer by self.
