34000 Eligible For 6th JPSC Civil Mains Examination After Revision Of Qualifying Criteria

RANCHI: The acceptance was made during the meeting held in valley of Netarhaat. Along with it many decisions pertaining to transportation up gradation by making roads in Palamau and adjoining areas as well as provision for irrigation facility via solar pumps were taken into consideration.

For naxal affected old mountain area formation of Saryu flat terrain and 3 new shelters was also approved. In total 31 projects were given approval during the meeting under the chairmanship of Raghuwar Das, Chief Minister of Jharkhand.

Cabinet has finalized 40 percent marks as cutoff for general category,36.5 percent as cut off for backward category,34 percent for extreme backward category.32 percent is the cut off criteria for the women of all categories and students belonging to SC/ST category.

All those who have secured minimum cut off marks in preliminary examination will be successfully allowed to take part in mains examination. However such a revised criteria is prescribed only for 6th civil JPSC examination. As per the earlier version of results only 6000 students were declared qualified. Now 34,000 will be qualified for appearing in 6th JPSC Civil Mains examination.
