After Pattern Change UPSC Considers To Cut The Age Limit For Civil Service Examination

NEW DELHI: Change in the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination Pattern is still under consideration.

UPSC is trying hard to make it a level playing field for all the aspirants who appears in the Civil Services Examination.Initialy negative marks were introduce followed by Aptitude and removal of one optional from its mains plan.

Now as per new buzz age cut off is under the consideration of UPSC, as per some insiders the prime recruiter of government of India is exploring the possibility to set the 26 year of age bar for recruiting the civil servant.

The idea was under consideration after the administrative reform committee report which was headed by Virappa Moili aiming to have young officers in the workforce.

It seems that the UPSC will announce the change from next examination (2015) and at the same time two year extension will be given to current batch who can apply up to 29 year of age.
