Results For 56th-59th BPSC Mains Examination Is Out

PATNA; Late night on Thursday i.e. 22-02-2018, 1933 candidate were declared successful. The process of verification for the qualified candidates will commence soon. Date for the verification is process is still not declared but will be out very soon. The list of qualified candidates has been published on the Bihar Public Commission website.

Over 2, 27,000 candidates had participated in the preliminary examination out of which only 28,303 candidates were declared successful. After the preliminary examination, mains were conducted from 8th July to 13th November in different centres in the city. Commission had released 736 vacancies in the year 2014.Out of these 374 vacancies are for unreserved category.

The Commission had released maximum vacancy for the civil service cadre. Second highest vacancies were in Police cadre. Qualified candidates need to qualify verification test now. Once they qualify it they can serve the country in different cadres. Against the 374 seats for the general candidates, 950 candidates are declared qualified, whereas 291 are declared successful against 116 seats allotted to SC candidates, 28 candidates against the 11 seats allotted to Schedule Tribes candidates.

Against 128 vacancies allotted to Extreme Backward Class 331 candidates are selected whereas for Backward Class total candidates successful are 217 against 84 seats.60 Backward Class (females) are selected against 23 seats and total 56 are qualified under physically disabled quota.
