UPSC Not Willing To Reveal Cut Off For CSAT 2013

NEW DELHI: Union public service Commission (UPSC) who has released the CSAT 2013 result on Aug 2 is not willing to release the cut off marks of the examination prior to end of the final recruitment.

Earlier after examination UPSC was alleged by the candidates for not releasing the Model answer key for the CSAT examination.

It was learned that Apex court and CIC has directed the UPSC to release the Answer key and cut off marks of the Candidates.

Making mockery of the judicial directive and CIC verdict, UPSC not willing to create transparent system as it is followed by other State Public Service Commission.

The press notes issued with CSAT 2013 result quoted that "Candidates are also informed that marks, cut off marks and answer keys of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination 2013 will be provided to them only after entire process of the Civil Services Examination is over i.e. after the declaration of final result"

No application under RTI act, 2005 or otherwise will be entertained in this regard the UPSC notification says
