BPSC About To Declare Mains Result Vacancy Expected To Go Above 1100

PATNA: Bihar Public Service (BPSC) combined 53rd 55th Civil services examination is inching towards the final stage as commission is in advance stage to release the result of the mains examination.

The information coming out from the corridor of BPSC suggests that commission is under tremendous pressure of government to recommend the officers to the government. Government of Bihar is facing paucity of officers to improve the governance particularly in the blocks and district level.

The examination has delayed due to the controversy that happened in the PT examination and court has directed the commission to release further result.

The mains examination was held in May -June last year in which about 15000 students appeared against 741 posts across the department.

Due to delay in the examination process vacancy is expected to touch about 1100 by the time recruitment will be finalize as per government sources.

The mains examination is expected to come out by month end or by 15th of February and the interview schedule will be released at the time of the result.
