So, 12 months of research and 15 interviewed top managers helped us to prepare the following list of Best free and paid PM tools of 2017.

Casual: To our opinion, Casual is the best of all products for project management. This tool is simple and usable. The projects and project plans are shown in a creative way. Besides, a project visualization is available. The other advantages of Casual include the upload of files, Google Calendar integration, and automatic email notifications.

Trello: Trello is a very popular service. It is especially appreciated by those who use virtual kanban boards. The quality of the tools is rather high along with the usability of task and project management. Trello supports many integration options. However, the number of features is limited. The tool is available in free and paid versions (for large teams).

Basecamp: This tool can be called legendary since it has been in the market for many years. Nevertheless, the tool remains popular and is widely used by small and middle-sized companies. The core of Basecamp is the list of tasks and calendar. Although the tool cannot boast of numerous features, all of the available ones are of really high quality.

Microsoft Project: Microsoft also has its tool for project management. This product is rather popular in large companies, while this solution offers almost all needed functions. However, the complexity of the tool makes it a wrong choice for small projects.
