Anand Kumar Gets Offer To Open Super 30 Branch In Assam From CM Tarun Gogoi

PATNA: Renowned teacher and the founder of Super 30, Anand Kumar has been requested by Assam  Government to launch a branch of Super 30 in Guwahati. 

Anand Kumar said after meeting with Assam CM Tarun Gogoi. Mr. Gogoi also offered to extend support with finances if a Super 30 will become reality in Assam.

Super 30 is the most successful concept for IIT JEE, is managed by Anand Kumar at his home. 30 Students are selected each year on merit-cum-poverty basis and they are prepared for IIT JEE free of cost. 

The entire cost of 30 students is borne by Anand Kumar himself under his foundation Ramanujan School of Mathematics.

When Tarun Gogoi visited Patna last time, he paid a visit to Super 30 institute. He was so impressed by the management of the institute that he offered a sum of Rs 5 Lakhs,which was cordially refused by Anand Kumar on grounds of their no-donation ethics.

The Super 30 has also received praise from United States President Barack Obama’s special envoy Rashad Hussain, who termed it the “best” institute in the India.

Newsweek Magazine has also written that the initiative of mathematician Anand Kumar’s Super 30 and included his school in the list of four most innovative schools in the world.

Anand Kumar has been awarded the Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad Shiksha Puraskar, the highest award  by the Government of Bihar in November 2010.
