In spite of lower sales, Android tables are still favourite among handsets vendors ,this fact is very well supported as we look at the number of tabs lined up for present year launch.

Moreover, the new tablets are definitely going to come up with much better design and innovative features. As result of increased competition, it very much expected that manufacturers to keep the prices reasonable to get fit into pockets of Indian customers.

Sony Tablet P


This tab will hit Indian market in next 10-15 days. The most interesting USP of this gadget is its form factor. It featured with two screens measuring 5 inch each; together it gives user 10 inch space and when gets folded provides a form factor of a great Smartphone. As it has got PSP (Play station) certified, so definitely going to leave great impact on market.

Getting into technicality, this tablet runs on Android Honeycomb OS and equipped with a dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor. Sony P has got 3 megapixel camera in front and 5 megapixel camera at the back. It has unique and elegant design and it's user friendly interface is programmed to access both the screens combined and individually.The device has both WiFi and 3G connectivity, will be available at Rs 36,990.


Asus Transformer Prime TF201


This is next tablet going to hit Indian market very soon. Like its predecessor, Asus Transformer has a keyboard docking station which definitely transforms it to a decent laptop.

The tablet will be available in February at slightly higher price than its previous version, which was sold at Rs 29,999 .

Transformer Prime TF201 featured with a 10.1 inch touch screen. It is equipped with a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 mobile processor and will have Android 3.2 Honeycomb as OS. Getting into connectivity, the tablet is eqqiped with 3G, WiF and Bluetooth.


Samsung Galaxy 7.7


Next tab lined up to be launched is the Samsung Galaxy 7.7. This tablet will be loaded with a 7.7 inch Super Amoled Plus display, which will be supporting 1280x800 pixel resolution. Moreover, it will featured with dual core 1.4 GHz microprocessor with Mali-400MP graphics chip and will have Android 3.2 Honeycomb as operating system (OS).

It has been also loaded with anUniversal Remote Control functionality in Galaxy 7.7 that will allow user to control their television and home entertainment systems.

Samsung Galaxy 7.7 will allow SIM calling and will have 3 megapixel camera at the back as well as 2 megapixel in front. Getting into connectivity, It will be wsupporting 3G and WiFi and will housed with 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB storage options with support for micro SD card of up to 32 GB. The expected will be under Rs 30,000 .
