Bihar Government Sanctions Post Of BDO For 287 Blocks

PATNA: Bihar Government has approved the proposal that the officers selected through BPSC in Bihar Rural Development Services will be posted as Block Development officer (BDO) who will see the development work in their jurisdiction.

Currently the works of BDO’s are handled by the supervisor rank officials on deputation basis after the appointment department will get their own cadre.

Total 287 Blocks of Bihar will get new BDO who will be recruited through the 53rd 55th Combined Civil services Examination.

The government has given the sanction of the post and now Rural development Department will do the formality by asking BPSC to begin the process of appointment.
