Bihar Needs 265 DYSP To Maintain Rule Of Law,BPSC To Recruit Them

Patna,Nov,3:Bihar the second largest populous state with struggling record of law and order needs 265 deputy superintendents of police (DYSP) to maintain the rule of law in the state.

State has about 10 crore population needs 591 DYSP but only 326 is working leaving 326 post vacant in various police departments. Currently 476 sanction post of DYSP is with department of Police.

Police department has earlier sent the proposal to the government for the creation of 85 DYSP post with immediate effect, the proposal said that it is urgent need to create 16 post for BMP, 25 for STF,44 post for CID & Special Branch and 30 for Vigilance department.

Government has taken the opinion of the finance department who denied to sanction large number of post in one go, so government had decided 30 post this time.

Home ministry is preparing the notification in this regard which will issue by coming week and at the same time it will sent to the BPSC.

It is expected that these Vacancy will be added in the ongoing recruitment drive and in coming year 100 more vacancy will be sent to the BPSC.
