Keep your expectations transparent

Reckless behaviour in the office is never seen as a good thing and you should show the employees the fear of termination. Also, if you're a team leader, you should be careful to do exactly what you're telling others about. Try to be yourself a model, and spread the positive vibe amongst others.

Reinforce what you want

A proper feedback structure that can be collected periodically, say in a month or in two months, will be highly appreciated by employees in understanding the factors that hold them behind. Whether it's about adapting to new technology or being unable to open up to new working faces, feedback systems are incredibly helpful in understanding working behaviour patterns.
