Greece's New Democracy and Pasok,two largest pro-bailout parties won enough support to forge a parliamentary majority, a final exit poll revealed, pointing to an outcome that may ease concern of a clash that could push the tumbling nation out of the eurozone.

The expected outcome would give New Democracy and Pasok 159 seats, if they agree to govern together, in the 300-member Greek parliament, as per the poll broadcast on state-run television NET.

Greeks head to the ballot box in two days for a contest that may determine the fate of the world's first democracy and the future of the newest reserve currency, while roiling markets from Wellington to Wall Street.
