A hot story is found in different famous Indian newspapers that IPL 7 has the chances to be hosted outside India. LokSabha elections are coming by the same months in which IPL matches are conducted every year. Outside options include Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and South Africa. If you want to enjoy these matches live by visiting stadiums, then obviously you will not like it but it is going to happen due to LokSabha elections. 

A report has been published in “The Indian Express”, in which it is claimed that BCCI is considering Sri Lanka and Bangladesh countries to host IPL 7 matches. But until the nominee is announced by the BCCI, it will remain unclear. BCCI had faced same circumstances in 2009, when South Africa was chosen to host IPL2 matches due to general elections in India. The same is going to happen again, and LokSabha elections are expected in the same months of IPL tournament. 

BCCI feels security risks in arranging IPL tournament during the dates of election. An official of BCCI has given an interview to a newspaper, and he has said that this picture will remain unclear until the exact election dates are announced. According to him, BCCI does not want to face same situation like 2009, and decision will be announced much before the time. In 2009, the decision regarding South Africa was taken in the last moments, and nobody was expecting that IPL2 would be transferred to some other country. 

But, before the announcement of exact dates for LokSabha election, no country can be confirmed that it will host IPL 7 tournament. BCCI does not want to face any bad situation and it is considering all aspects deeply. There is no confusion on its end, but before confirmation of election dates, it is also not able to confirm that which country will presentIPL 7 Live Score. 

So, BCCI is just focusing the schedule of LokSabha elections because it wants to avoid the situations as happened in 2009. At that time, nobody was expecting that South Africa would be chosen to host IPL 2 matches, due to general elections in India. There were many security risks in conducting IPL 2 matches in India, and South Africa was chosen in the last moments of decision. 

IPL tournament is held in the months of May and June, and same months are expected for LokSabha elections. BCCI knows that there will be same security threats as they found in 2009. Thus, BCCI officials are observing the matter seriously and they have offered few options to hold these matches outside India. 

 

Though, some newspapers are claiming that South Africa will be chosen for IPL7, as it had conducted IPL2 matches successfully. But, many newspapers are on the other side and they claim that South Africa has much lower chances for selection as compare to Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, because the relationships between officials of BCCI and CSA are not good. 

Media reports are also claiming that IPL 7 matches are expected in two different phases- in India and outside. It will depend upon the situations of that time, and if it looked possible to hold few matches in India, then such destination will be selected that have shorter distance. Due to these reasons, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka are considered as the hot favorite options.
