JPSC To Revamp Civil Services Examination Pattern

Ranchi, Oct, 11: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has decided to continue with the Old pattern for the upcoming 5th Civil Services Examination.

The development is learned because JPSC is finalizing the new pattern .JPSC has constituted an Expert Committee in consultation with the Government of Jharkhand to review the pattern and syllabus of Combined Civil Services Examination.

Amid wide spread controversy with the JPSC examination in the past Government of Jharkhand felt the urgent requirement for making this examination contemporary relevant and reliable recruitment system to restore the trust of the candidates.

The expert committee is expected to submit its recommendation regarding the examination shortly which will be forwarded to the government for the approval and then it will be uploaded on the web site of the JPSC.

The commission has also decided to give one year time lag between adaptation of new pattern/syllabus and any examination on the pattern to provide adequate time to the applicant to adjust with the new system.
