The figure of the business consultant has always existed, from the moment in which what we could call the "first company" was founded thousands of years ago. To explain in essence what a consultant is and what he can do for your company, we will use an example of the most primitive and simple:

The traditional consulting companies were installed in the bosom of those who hired them, they made a diagnosis of what was happening and the solution to the problem was carried out.

They were not specialized in anything in particular and yet they controlled everything at the same time. The problems were understood as generic and the consultant solved them through their professionals.

How is Consulting Understood Today?

The general consultants still exist, but the most usual thing is for companies to employ specialized consultants in the dissimilar department that make up the company.
