Sachin And Rekha In Parliamentary Standing Committee

New Delhi: Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and Rekha , the two MPs, who have been nominated to the Upper House in May this year, have been made appointed as a members of standing committees on IT and Food and Civil Supplies respectively.

The Standing Committee consisting of 31 member on Information and Technology, which is currently working on the Cable Television Networks(Regulation) Second Amendment Bill, 2011. The Standing committee on food, consumer affairs and public distribution, also consist of 31 members, who are investigating on the National Food Security Bill, Bureau of Indian Standards (Amendment) Bill, 2012, the Consumer Protection (Amendment) Bill, 2011 and 2011 and the Warehousing Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2011.
