Mumbai, Fab, 28: Indian cricket selectors will have a challenging job ahead to respond the media deliberate which is quite hot now a days in the wake of the cricket team's pathetic performance in the ongoing tri series and test matches in Australia when they meet on 29th to pick a team for upcoming Asia Cup in Bangladesh which scheduled between 11 and 22 March.

The five member selection committee is under tremendous pressure from the millions of cricket fans in the country to wield the axe and discard non-performing players of the team now in Australia.

The million dollar question is whether they offer rest to big tickets senior cricketer like Sachin Tendulkar ,Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir, who is in woeful form at present and is also allegedly at loggerheads with the skipper M S Dhoni, and underperforming juniors like Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma and Ravindra Jadeja - and inject new players from the domestic cricket.

It is not clear whether M S Dhoni, after having played non-stop cricket and looking jaded himself, will be rested for the coming continental championships to be held in Dhaka

I certainly against the current campaign to remove the seniors from the team because of several reason.

  • See the performance of juniors their performance is worst than seniors.
  • Seniors presence is an additional pressure on opposition.
  • we do not have proper replacement of Sachin and sehwag
