BPSC 60TH-62ND Exam On February 12 Next Year

PATNA: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced 60th-62nd Civil Services exam notification that will be to be held on 12 February 2017.

The upcoming recruitment drive will induct are 642 officers in16  various state departments.

Important Dates for the Examination:

  • Online Application starts : 27th September.
  • Date of Registration : 27th September-31st October.
  • Date of downloading Bank challan : 27th September-31st October.
  • Date of submitting Bank challan : 27th September-31st October.
  • Date of submitting Bank challan on Dashboard : 27th September-31st October.
  • Date of online application - 27th September-3 November 2016.

Age Limit : For General (Male):37, General (Female),BC and OBC(Male & Female) : 40, For SC's/ST's : 42

For 60th Examination age will count from 1st August 2014, for 61st from 1st August 2015,For 62nd combined competitive examination it will count from 1st

August 2016, candidates are eligible for participation if they are eligible in one criteria all of the above. There are no maximum chances in attempts.

Preliminary Exam : General Studies:

Preliminary exam will be of General studies consisting objective type questions of 150 total marks for 2 hours.

Examination Fee: 150 Rupees for Bihar SC, ST and Disable candidates(40% or more). Apart for them all candidates should have to pay 650 rupees. 

Fee should have to pay through challan by any branch of State Bank of India. 

Mains Examination: Candidates should have choose one optional subject from the 34 subjects that are included in syllabus, at the time of filling preliminary form.
