BPSC To Recruit More Than 900 From 2014 Combined Cvils Services Exam

PATNA: As per the sources, Bihar Public Service Commission, i.e. BPSC is going to recruit more than 900 from the 2014 combined civil service exam. BPSC, created by the Indian Constitution conducts  Bihar Public Services competitive examination to select the candidates for civil service jobs in the state Bihar, according to the candidate’s merits and as per the rules of reservation.

BPSC recruitment is completed under two methods, first is direct recruitment and the second is Promotion. In the direct recruitment, candidates need  to face two successive stages. First is preliminary examination that will be objective type and this examination is a qualifying examination.

Second is the mains examination, that will include written examination and the interview. Candidates who are qualified in the preliminary examination, will be eligible for the mains examination. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview.

Under the Promotion method, Promotion is granted to the civil servants through the Departmental Promotion Committee that is constituted for the same objective. They promote these civil servants in accordance with the rules framed by the State Government.
