JPSC To Set 4 Attempt Limit For General Candidates In Civil Services Examination

RANCHI: Jharkhand Public Service Commission(JPSC) to give four attempts to the applicants in State Civil Service Examination which is due to announce this month.

Earlier JPSC Civil services examination was the attempts free examination in line with the other states.

The source close to the development told that government had sent their decision to the commission in this regard.

The limitation of attempts will be the setback for those candidates who come under the preview of the decision apart from this JPSC civil services examination is famous for its irregularity it reflects the interest of the candidate as only 60-70 thousand applicants take these examinations.

When in the other state attendance in the civil services examination lands in the bands of 1 to 3 lakh in UPPSC,BPSC,MPPSC,RPSC etc.

Less application hampers the quality of the officers recruited through the examination, which is going to be the case in Jharkhand.

It is expected that after restricting the attempts JPSC will get further less application against their vacancy announcement.
