INDIAN POLITY AND ECONOMY: Total No. of Questions - 30.
Questions of Indian Polity and Economy will test knowledge of Country's political system, Panchayati Raj, Community development and planning in India and Bihar. Major changes in the economy of Bihar in the post independence period.

(i) Indian Polity - 12 Questions.
Questions should be distributed fairly to include constitutional provisions, Legislature, Executive, Judiciary, Panchayati Raj, Community development etc.

(ii) Indian Economy - 12 Questions.
Emphasis should be given on economics infrastructure plans statistical facts etc.

(iii) Economic changes in Bihar - 6 Questions.

INDIAN NATIONAL MOVEMENT AND HE PART PLAYED BY BIHAR IN IT: Total No. of Questions - 20.
Questions on Indian National Movement will relate to the nature and character of the 19th century resurgence growth of nationalism and attainment of independence.

(1) National Movement- 12 Questions.
(2) Role of Bihar in the freedom Movement of India-8 Questions.

HISTORY OF INDIA AND THE SALIENT FEATURES OF THE HISTORY OF BIHAR: Total No. of Questions - 20.
In history, emphasis will be given on broad understanding of the subject in its social, cultural, economic and political aspects. The candidates are expected to be familiar with the broad aspects of the history of Bihar.

(1) Ancient Indian History - 4 Questions.
(2) Medieval Indian History - 4 Questions.
(3) Modern Indian History - 6 Questions.
(4) History of Bihar - 6 Questions.

CURRENT AFFAIRS OF NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL IMPORTANCE:  Total No. of Questions - 30.
(1) National Events -10 Questions.
(2) International Events - 10 Questions.
(3) Sports, Awards, Conferences, National and International relating
to Bihar - 10 Questions.

GEOGRAPHY: Total No. of Questions - 20.
In Geography, emphasis will be of geography of India and Bihar, General Geography and geographical division of Bihar and its major river systems. Quesions on the Geography of India and Bihar will include Physical, Social and Economic Geography of the Country including the main features on Indian agricultural and natural resoures.

(1) World Geography - 5 Questions.
(2) Indian Geography - 8 Questions.
(3) Geography of Bihar - 7 Questions.

GENERAL SCIENCE: Total No. of Questions - 20.
Question on General Science will cover general appreciation and understanding of Science, including matters of every day obervation and experience, as may expected of well educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific discipline.

GENERAL MENTAL ABILITIES: Total No. of Questions - 10.

Note: In lieu of demand from our esteemed followers, Team PolyEyes has analysed the BPSC past trends and here we have given detailed breakup of BPSC prelims sllybus.

However it may have slight deviation in upcoming BPSC prelims Exam. Moreover, breakup will be more or less as per above discussed.
