UPSC Notification 2015 Update: Complete Change Round The Corner

DELHI: In order to provide level playing field, Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in working on restructuring of examination process. The structural change is already initiated by the Government of India (GOI) by declaring CSAT as qualifying paper.

As per the recent press release on PIB, CSAT 2015 will be only of qualifying nature which is 33 per cent. Meanwhile, the 2015 UPSC Civil Services examination notification which was scheduled to be released on May 16 is postponed. Final structure of examination pattern is still under process and it is likely that there may be some changes in the UPSC 2015 mains examination too.

As per speculations, UPSC may remove the remaining one optional from 2015 civil services mains examination. This will result in complete level playing field for the candidates belonging to different educational background including those who come from rural area.

However, the removal of optional from mains examination is mere speculation. The final picture will be clear only after the official notification of 2015 UPSC Civil Service Examination.
